Art Deco designer brought flamboyance to his work and life See life as a 10-year-old, dress like an 18-year-old, think like a 25-year-old, he recommended.  Graphic designer Theo Dimson’s modus operandi was as dynamic, elegant and creative as the many Art Deco posters and works that epitomized his long career. Boston Shepard Fairey Pleads Guilty In Criminal Case Of Obama 'Hope' Image "The creator of the Barack Obama 'HOPE' poster pleaded guilty Friday to criminal contempt, saying he made a 'terrible decision' in 2009 to destroy some documents and fabricate others in a civil lawsuit pertaining to The Associated Press photograph he relied upon to make the poster." London UK Business Funding For The Arts Down 7 Percent In 2011 "Overall, private sector investment in culture in 2011 rose by 4% to £686 million, driven by an increase in support from trusts and foundations and individual giving. Of that £686 million, business support now accounts for £134.2 million, trusts and foundations for £170.3 million (up 10%) and individual giving for £382.2 million (up 6%). Within those results, theatre suffered a particularly poor year with private sector support falling by 10% from £53.8 million to £48.2 million." The Stage, February 28, 2012
