Ont., Que. projects win GGs for architecture

The French River Visitor Centre beside the historic French River in Ontario and the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain that transformed Quebec City's waterfront in preparation for its 400th anniversary have won Governor General's Medals for Architecture. Art dealer agrees to plea deal in $2-million sale of fake Picasso

"As part of the plea deal, the West Hollywood resident admitted she paid an art restorer $1,000 to create a reproduction of a work by Pablo Picasso -- a 1902 pastel 'La Femme Au Chapeau Bleu' or 'The Woman in the Blue Hat.'" Los Angeles Times, April 27, 2010
